What Are The Different Types Of Glitter?
When choosing the perfect Do it Double Acrylic Powder for any client's set you first want to know  how different glitter acrylic powders will reflect after you've encapsulated them.
Here's a guide to the different glitter types available on our website:
Holographic Glitters reflect rainbow and will have a rainbow reflection once encapsulated in clear acrylic powder.
Iridescent Glitters have some transparency to them and reflect ultra bright, they have the brightest reflection to them. These shades can reflect a wide variety of colors when encapsulated in clear. These glitters do not have any rainbow reflection to them.
Translucent Glitters are slightly transparent and the reflection of the glitter once encapsulated will change. Some Translucent Glitters are completely transparent meaning you can see through them, while others have a touch of color to them allowing them to have a unique reflection.
Pure Color Glitters are colors that relfect the same color as they are. For example a pink glitter will reflect pink. These colors will stay true to themselves when encapsulated in clear acrylic.
Matte Glitters have little to no reflection to them and are true to color once they're encapsulated in clear acrylic.
Whichever Do it Double Powder you choose Maze's Glitter Supplies will do our best to describe to you whether the colors are holographic, iridescent, translucent, pure color, or matte. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at support@mazesglittersupplies.com .
